Dinner Xara Lodge on the 22nd February 2022

Dear friends,

 

This was the second dinner organised by the new Qatra 2022 committee.

It was prepared for us by Nick Calamatta and his team who did us proud with some very good and interesting wines.

Perhaps we were a little too obvious on the region with the Jambon and Choriso risotto but one cannot complain about the food and service which was to Xara's usual standard.

Personally, I particularly enjoyed the Belondrade y Lurton with the risotto and my favourite red was the Pesquera and it seems that the rest of you on average agreed with me.

It was gratifying seeing so many members attending and having fun and this is very encouraging
